There is nothing quite like a fashion week to hurl you out of grief and make a statement. Perhaps I exaggerate. Perhaps, there is no real way of leaping out of grief. It is here to stay, it has changed me in profound ways and it cannot be tucked behind jewels and a well tailored suit. What the suit and jewels however can do, is lift you up on the inside and supply enough ammunition to get through another week.
In May this year, I lost my first born, who lived a short meaninful life of just 8 days. Don't ask my how I am. Ask me how I intend to appear.

The studio is my sanctuary. It is where my geekines and femininity come together. How convenient that I didn't photograph the mess of wires that my desk actually is. But I love wires. Without wires, there would be no internet.

Today we are writing history. When the Spielberg of the next generation wins an Oscar for a historical documentation of the human rights violations of our times, we will find our names in "The Cameron's List" (of people that stayed silent when much could be demanded of the European Union).
On 12th September, we marched to Parliament Square to raise our voices and to ask the government to accept more refugees. Unfortunately, not much has been acheived since. The UK still stands at accepting only 20,000 refugees by 2020. More people will have squeezed into Dubai for the EXPO2020 by then, and here we are wondering how this many will fit in all of UK. Bravo.
